Yes, we missed the moose sighting, but look what we almost stepped on today on our way to the Memorial Day ceremony! Sarah and I had Cooper with us and all of a sudden she gave a little gasp and stopped. It didn't take me long to realize what was directly in our path. Our first question was where is our camera when we need it, but then we quickly realized somebody to go home and get it real fast! Which I did, while Sarah kept Cooper under control. Not that that was a problem. He remained clueless throughout the whole event. I took a couple of pictures but wasn't sure if I was focusing good enough, so I turned the camera over to Sarah while I took Cooper and between the two of us we got a couple of good shots. It laid so still and looked like it was asleep, but as you can see from the pictures, it was awake the whole time. I'm sure it's mom was very proud of it!
