Just when winter was getting too long to bear, the hibiscus that Don and Rose-Marie gave us after grandma died, bloomed. For a while, the plant looked like it wouldn't make it another year. But it persevered and now it's spreading its sunshine to warm our hearts. Ironically, it presented this bloom the day after the anniversary of grandma's death. A bright, sunny bloom to remind us that she is still watching over us.
